Advance your career as a Full-Time Policy Analyst with the Alberta Ministry of Affordability and Utilities in Edmonton. Focus on policy development for nuclear energy and its implications. As a Policy Analyst, you'll support strategic initiatives through high-quality research and analysis. You will engage with diverse stakeholders, including government ministries and industry representatives, to address complex regulatory and energy issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and provide evidence-based policy advice for leadership
- Develop explicit, concise policy documentation and presentations
- Establish strong working relationships with external stakeholders
- Participate in key committees and project teams
- Oversee major policy initiatives with little supervision Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, engineering, or related
- Two years' experience in policy analysis and project management
- Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Understanding of Alberta’s legislative framework
