Role DescriptionWhiteRose Janitorial Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee and support the day-to-day HR needs of our growing and diverse workforce.

This is a full-time, in office position based in Toronto. The Human Resources Manager will work closely with senior management, operations, supervisors, and frontline employees to ensure effective and consistent HR practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, maintaining employee records and documentation, coordinating training and development initiatives, and supporting performance management and employee relations.

The Human Resources Manager will provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on workplace matters, assist with conflict resolution and employee concerns, and help ensure the consistent application of company policies and procedures.

The role will also support compensation and benefits administration, HRIS and payroll-related processes, health and safety initiatives, and compliance with applicable Ontario employment legislation.

the Human Resources Manager will play an important role in strengthening HR processes, improving employee engagement and accountability, and ensuring our people practices effectively support both our employees and operational teams.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience, including demonstrated experience in an HR management or senior HR leadership capacity.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- CHRP or CHRL designation, or actively working toward a designation, is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning, and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, coaching, and performance management.
- Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, HR compliance requirements, workplace policies, and documentation practices.
- Experience coordinating employee training, development, and organizational change initiatives.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping systems, such as ADP, is required.
- Ability to prepare and interpret HR reports and use workforce data to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Experience within janitorial, facilities services, security, property management, or another frontline service environment is considered an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with frontline employees, supervisors, operations teams, and senior management.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential employee matters with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment where priorities may change based on operational requirements.
