Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role based at Vine Arts Wine and Spirits in Calgary, AB. The prospective team members will assist customers on the sales floor, provide product recommendations, and ensure a friendly and informative shopping experience. Daily responsibilities include stocking shelves, merchandising displays, receiving and organizing inventory, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards.

The role also involves operating the point-of-sale system, handling cash and card transactions accurately, and supporting in-store events or tastings as needed.



Team members collaborate with colleagues across locations to share information and help ensure consistent customer service and store standards.

Qualifications

- Customer service and retail skills, including assisting guests, handling transactions, and resolving inquiries in a professional manner.
- Fantastic product knowledge and strong interest in wine, beer, and spirits, with a willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
- Organization and attention to detail for inventory handling, merchandising, and maintaining a clean, safe, and accessible store workplace.
- Communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and interact respectfully with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes of products safely, and follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Reliability and flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by store operations.
- Previous retail, hospitality, or service industry experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
