MSKrehab - Physiotherapy and Sports Medicine
Calgary
MSKrehab | South Calgary (Unit 407, 8989 Macleod Trail SW)
About the role
MSKrehab is looking for a physiotherapist who's still <10 years into their career and/or wants to get genuinely good at this profession, not just employed. We're a musculoskeletal and spine clinic focused on being experts in the field: a mix of chronic pain, complex MSK conditions, motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, and some sport and weekend-warrior patients too, all running through a care-coordination model with local physician offices. You'll get real clinical variety and direct, hands-on mentorship, not a token supervision box to check.
Location: MSKrehab, Unit 407, 8989 Macleod Trail SW, South Calgary, AB
Availability: Morning and evening availability, flexible scheduling. Minimum 3 days/week, full-time preferred. Optional weekend hours if you want them.
Employment type: Employee or independent contractor, your choice at signing.
EMR: Juvonno (templated or fully customizable SOAP notes).
What makes this the ideal role
- Direct, hands-on mentorship from an FCAMPT clinician in manual therapy, dry needling, and spine rehab
- Depending on experience, co-treating and supervising University of Alberta physiotherapy students alongside another clinician. You’ll sharpen your own clinical reasoning by teaching
- Yearly financial support for continuing education
- A structured path to advanced credentials, with a split model that rewards you as you add manual therapy levels, dry needling, and concussion/vestibular certification
- Exposure to a cooperative physician care-coordination model most therapists never get early on
- A caseload with real variety: chronic MSK, complex spine, MVA rehab, sport and weekend warriors
- 1-on-1 care with 45-60 minute assessments and 30 minute follow-ups
Who you are
- A registered physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Hungry for mentorship, genuinely motivated to build clinical depth, and the support to build into an excellent clinician
- A good communicator with patients and team members who wants to work within a collaborative, growth-orientated environment
Minimum qualifications
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Valid malpractice insurance
- A genuine commitment to learning and developing as a clinician and patient communicator
Assets (nice to have, not required, we’ll train you toward these)
- Dry needling
- Spinal manipulation / manual therapy
- Concussion and/or vestibular rehabilitation
Compensation
Employee and independent-contractor options available. Base split 40–45% depending on structure, with a tiered model rewarding advanced credentials, certifications, and productivity: up to 60% on clinic patients (IC), and up to 70% on self-generated patients. Full tiered structure shared during the process.
