Role Description The Product Owner will serve as the key point of contact for defining, prioritizing, and managing product features and requirements for IPM Cell’s digital tools and processes. This part-time, remote role involves gathering and analyzing stakeholder needs, maintaining a clear product backlog, and collaborating with software development teams to ensure timely delivery of high-impact features.

The Product

Owner will translate institutional objectives into detailed user stories, refine acceptance criteria, and monitor progress against milestones. Daily activities include coordinating with academic and administrative stakeholders, reviewing product performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting documentation of workflows and product roadmaps. The role also requires ensuring alignment with IPM Cell’s strategic goals and compliance with relevant institutional policies and guidelines.

Qualifications

- Strong Product Management skills, including backlog prioritization, roadmap planning,



and stakeholder coordination.
- Excellent Analytical Skills and Business Analysis abilities to translate complex institutional requirements into actionable product features.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with academic, administrative, and technical teams in a remote workplace.
- Hands-on understanding of Software Development processes, agile methodologies, and collaboration with engineering teams.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in engineering, management, computer science, or related disciplines.
- Experience with technology products in education, research, or intellectual property domains is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage part-time workloads efficiently, and operate across multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Familiarity with IP management, innovation ecosystems, or tech transfer processes is desirable.
