We are looking for a Project Scheduler to support the planning, monitoring, and control of the project delivery schedule during the execution phase of a major transportation infrastructure program.

The Project

Scheduler will be responsible for developing, maintaining,



and updating detailed execution schedules covering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities. Throughout the project, the Project Scheduler will analyze and monitor the progress of the work in close collaboration with the project management team, engineering teams, and customer, 3 rd parties and related parties representatives.

Scheduler will prepare progress reports and dashboards, ensuring it fulfills applicable Project standards.

Scheduler will be a key contributor to the project controls organization and will actively participate in planning and coordination meetings, helping ensure alignment between all project participants and maintaining a clear view of project priorities and critical activities.

What will you do

- Demonstrate expertise schedule management methods and tools (especially primavera P6, Microsoft project and Tilos).
- Develop and integrate individual schedules (e.g., subcontractor, design, construction) into a unified master schedule, managing critical interfaces and the overall project critical path. Record and coordinate relevant internal and external schedule interfaces, taking into account any contractual requirements in the schedule. Ensure traceability for changes from stakeholders during baseline schedule development and update through logs, interface milestones, half step analysis, etc.
- Develop, review and maintain schedules including baseline schedules and accompanying narratives according to Contract requirements, project procedures and industry best practices.
- Work independently to contact relevant stakeholders for schedule building and updates. Of key importance will be the relationship with Subcontractors to ensure the integrity of the schedule and so that the current project status is mapped in the working schedule.




- To initiate escalation measures where schedule/forecast/actual deadline non-conformities occur and/or non-conformance with schedule updating process occurs.
- Update and monitor schedules for deadline compliance and project progress.
- Manage resources loaded schedules, by properly linking activities and allocating the required resources (labour, materials, and equipment) within the schedule
- Support project controls and commercial functions by assisting with financial forecasts, progress certifications, earned value assessments, and related project reporting activities.
- Interpret and Implement Contract requirements applicable to scheduling and assess compliance in existing schedules.
- Prepare schedule analyses, (including critical path analysis, what‑if scenarios, float and buffer assessments), dashboards, KPIs, progress reports and recovery schedules and/or mitigation plans.
- Carry out a delay analysis to pinpoint the reason of delays and work with the team to employ industry‑standard methods such as Time Impact Analysis to request extensions of time.
- Establish and maintain schedule governance processes, including schedule structures, coding requirements, reporting cycles, data integration, progress measurement methodologies, and update procedures.
- To take part in project meetings, discussions with internal and external partners (customers, consortium partners, suppliers, other units within Siemens, etc.).
- To regularly back up schedules and filing in accordance with project requirements and relevant guidelines What will you need to succeed:
- A minimum of 10 years of solid experience in project scheduling, in large projects business, within the heavy industry (rail, aerospace, shipbuilding, energy, mining) or within the construction sector, involving large-scale engineering, system integration and manufacturing, construction challenges.
- Solid knowledge of scheduling methodologies (critical path analysis, baseline management).
- Strong experience using Primavera P6 for project scheduling and schedule analysis.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments involving multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of project execution processes including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
