Help Lead Two Growing Divisions

JW Recycle It Inc. is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead the operations and

continued growth of our two divisions:

Recycle It Canada - Waste Diversion & Project Management

Take My Haz Waste - Hazardous Waste Management

This is not simply a dispatch or office management position. We are looking for an experienced operational leader who can manage people, coordinate multiple crews and projects, solve problems, work with customers, understand environmental and hazardous waste requirements, and help grow the business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Scheduling and coordinating multiple truck teams, crews, equipment and projects
- Setting field teams up for success before they leave each morning
- Training, managing and developing employees and crew leaders
- Managing multiple active projects and job sites
- Taking customer inquiries and helping develop project solutions
- Preparing estimates and coordinating accepted projects
- Managing large property, warehouse, industrial and facility cleanup projects
- Coordinating trucks, heavy equipment, bins, subcontractors, recycling facilities and disposal facilities
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and profitably
- Supporting hazardous waste operations and regulatory compliance
- Improving operational systems, productivity and accountability
- Helping grow both Recycle It Canada and Take My Haz Waste

Hazardous Waste Experience Is a Major Asset

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in the hazardous waste, environmental or

industrial services industries.

- Hazardous waste manifests and documentation
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Transport Canada requirements
- BC environmental regulations
- Ministry of Environment and Parks requirements
- Waste identification and classification
- Packaging, containment, labelling and placarding




- Hazardous waste transportation and disposal
- Environmental compliance

The Person We're Looking For

You may currently be working as an Operations Manager, Environmental Services Manager, Hazardous

Waste Manager or Supervisor, Industrial Services Manager, Project Manager, Field Operations Manager,

Branch Manager, or Logistics/Transportation Manager.

We're especially interested in candidates coming from hazardous waste, environmental services, industrial

services, waste and recycling, restoration, construction, demolition, transportation/logistics or complex

project management.

The ideal candidate combines robust people leadership with hands-on operational and project

management experience. You should be comfortable walking onto a complicated project site, determining

what needs to happen, developing a plan, and coordinating the people, equipment, transportation and

resources required to get the job completed successfully.

Compensation

$68,000-$100,000 annually. Compensation will reflect your experience, leadership capabilities, project

management background and hazardous waste/environmental industry knowledge.
