Reporting to the Primary Clinic Practice Manager, this role emphasizes advocacy within the Musqueam community. You will manage patient scheduling, coordinate transportation, and liaise consistently between patients and healthcare providers. Additionally, your duties include providing resources about perks and ensuring continuity of care through follow-up visits and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient schedules and appointment coordination
- Act as a liaison among patients and healthcare stakeholders
- Facilitate transportation arrangements for appointments
- Assist patients with financial aspects of their care
- Promote emotional and cultural support resources
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare
- Relevant post-secondary education required
- Proficient understanding of social and health issues in First Nations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Criminal Record Check required
