Role Description The Research Analyst role is a part-time remote position focused on gathering, analyzing, and summarizing information related to IT job markets and cybersecurity developments. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring industry news, security advisories, and job boards; conducting market and trend analysis; and producing concise reports or briefs for publication on the platform.
The Research
Analyst will synthesize complex data into explicit, accessible insights and collaborate with team members to ensure the relevance and reliability of shared content. This role requires self-directed work, consistent documentation, and adherence to editorial and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Statistics knowledge to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based insights.
- Market Research and Research abilities to collect, evaluate, and verify information from multiple credible sources.
- Effective Communication skills to present findings clearly in written summaries, reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, IT job markets, and industry terminology.
- Proficiency with online research tools, databases, and basic data visualization or spreadsheet software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Information Security, Data Science, Economics, or a related discipline) or equivalent practical experience.
