Join PHL Group as a Forensic Healthcare Skilled in Scarborough, where you'll provide essential medical support in police custody. This full-time role ensures you assess, treat, and document detainee health needs.

Your primary responsibility will be working alongside police personnel to identify mental health issues, substance misuse, and general health concerns of detained individuals. As a critical member of the team, you will carry out clinical assessments and maintain comprehensive records while adhering to the Police and Criminal Evidence Act. You must hold a valid RGN or Paramedic registration to apply.

Key Responsibilities: • Identify and address detainee health needs effectively • Collect and document forensic samples • Provide detailed records of medical assessments • Collaborate with officers on care priorities • Assess alcohol and drug impacts on detainees

Requirements: • Registered RGN or Paramedic certification • Experience in clinical or forensic settings highly valued • Strong observational and record-keeping skills • Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally • Committed to providing compassionate care
