Intent of the process
Anticipatory Staffing - A qualified pool of candidates may be established to staff similar positions at the CR-04 group and level for term, indeterminate or acting at full or part-time hours or lower level positions.Should a CM be found qualified and selected for appointment, the appointment will not result in a change of status to another category for the member.
Conditions of employment
- Various security requirements including RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status, Secret, and Top Secret.
- For some positions a valid driver’s license will be required or have personal mobility to the degree normally associated with a driver's license.
Operational Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel for work and/or training purposes using various modes of transportation, as required
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as required.

Successful completion of two years of secondary school or an acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience, (see Note 1).Note 1
Acceptable: Suitable for a position, as determined by the manager, unless otherwise regulated by the employer.

EXPERIENCE
- E.1 Experience in using computer applications, including at least two of the following: e-mail, spreadsheets, or word processing.
- E.2 Experience in providing services to internal or external clients
- E.3 Experience providing administrative or clerical support
- E.4 Experience proofreading professional documents and/or reports

ABILITIES
- A.1 Ability to communicate effectively orally.
- A.2 Ability to communicate effectively in writing.
- A.3 Ability to work effectively in a stressful environment
- A.4 Ability to plan and organize

EXPERIENCE
- AE.1 Experience in data entry, electronic and paper document management, and/or database management.
- AE.2 Experience working in a government accounting workplace (Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable).
- AE.3 Experience providing administrative or clerical support in a legal or police services environment.
- AE.4 Experience providing administrative or clerical support in a medical services environment
