The successful candidate will be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Foundation CEO, Board of Directors, and various internal and external stakeholders. This executive will be responsible for strategic financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and investment management, as well as overseeing operational planning, performance measurement, and administrative systems. The role also involves providing governance support, particularly in the areas of financial and operational strategy,
and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Vice-President will lead a high-performing team and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Applicants for the Vice-President position at the company should hold a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and have a minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience in finance, corporate services, and administration. Experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, such as healthcare, education, not-for-profit, or the public sector, is preferred. The role requires a robust background in financial planning, and investment portfolios, and a proven track record in human resources leadership. Familiarity with governance practices, particularly in the context of Board and committee support, is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, be adept at change management, and have a strong understanding of CRA charitable compliance and Ontario not-for-profit legislation.
