Role Summary:
We are seeking skilled banquet servers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and enjoy providing exceptional customer service.
Skills/Competencies Qualifications:
- Two (2) years food industry experience, preferably in the wedding & events industry, or a major hotel or event venue.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of all aspects of food & hospitality sector.
- Must be an effective self-leader with excellent organizational abilities and excellent interpersonal written & oral communication skills.
- Confident with the ability to act calmly during adverse and unexpected circumstances.
- Effective at problem solving and decision-making with good insight and judgment.
- Strong initiative and client service orientation.
- Ability to use sound judgment, discretion and professional integrity.
- High energy, positive, skilled attitude, pride in work.
- Available for evening and weekend work.
- Must be able to multi-task in a busy environment, often with distractions.
- Must have own transportation to and from work.
- Applicant must currently reside in Canada as a landed immigrant or a Canadian citizen.
Job Type: Part-time
