Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans to meet individual needs.
- Provide hands-on physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless recovery pathways.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management techniques, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare standards.
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and medical terminology standards during all interactions.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Physiotherapist in hospital or acute care settings.
- Hands-on experience with pediatric patients is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Able to do WSIB, MVA paperwork
- Prior exposure to clinic environments enhances understanding of clinical workflows and emergency procedures
