This full-time role requires a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Radiation Therapy and certification in Basic Life Support. The Radiation Therapist I, under the guidance of a Radiation Therapist II, will prepare and deliver ionizing radiation treatments as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist.
Skills in treatment planning, simulation, and patient communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver precise radiation treatments for patients
- Operate radiation therapy equipment with accuracy
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists for treatment plans
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Develop therapeutic relationships with patients
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Radiation Therapy
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS-C)
- Licensed with Saskatchewan Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Membership with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- No prior experience required
