About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for a Long-Term Care Home. The successful candidate will be a key member of the senior management team, providing overall leadership and strategic direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care.
This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation, and requires a visible, values-based leader who can inspire a multidisciplinary team and build strong relationships with residents, families, and the community.

The Executive Director will be responsible for the home’s operational performance, financial stewardship, regulatory compliance,



and the implementation of the company's strategic plan at the home level.

Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, with a preference for a minimum of 5 years' progressive leadership experience in healthcare, seniors' services, or a related setting.
Solid knowledge of long-term care legislation, regulatory compliance, and operational standards is essential. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in budget management, staff leadership in a unionized environment, and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

The Executive Director will also be responsible for ensuring the home operates in compliance with all relevant legislation and for leading initiatives in quality, risk, and safety management.
