Tacten is looking for both Journeyperson Pipefitters and Registered Pipefitter Apprentices with IRATA certification for our team at Syncrude. Successful candidates will be dedicated to high-quality workmanship and safety in industrial settings.
This role involves temporary full-time work with potential for further assignments based on operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and installation requirements accurately
- Assemble and install piping systems according to industry standards
- Conduct routine maintenance and performance checks
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and teammates
- Communicate job progress with supervisors
Requirements:
- Certification as a Journeyperson Pipefitter or registered apprentice
- IRATA Level 1 certification or willingness to pursue it
- Experience with pipefitting in an industrial workplace
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Capacity to work in rope access situations
