Job Purpose
Provide excellent customer service and ensure a smooth and accurate checkout process for all customers.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
Deliver outstanding customer service and engage positively with customersMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient checkout areaGreet customers in a friendly and professional mannerAccurately scan or manually enter itemsProcess cash, coupons, and other payments accuratelyRespond to customer inquiries regarding product locations, returns, refunds, and rain checks
Operations & Merchandising
Ensure proper documentation is completed for receipts and returned merchandiseReport stock shortages or out-of-stock items to the appropriate team member
Loss Prevention & Cash Handling
Adhere to all loss prevention policies and proceduresHandle cash in accordance with company guidelinesAccurately count and return change to minimize discrepanciesMaintain the security of cash and merchandise at all timesTrack and record all cheque payments received
