Aircraft Electrical Engineer/Designer - Pacific NW - Aug 2020

Description:

The Electrical Engineer/Designer is responsible for conducting quality control audits and inspections of aircraft and rotary wing.

This role ensures compliance with internal policies, customers and regulatory requirements.

Primary Duties:

- Perform quality control audits and inspection of fixed and rotary wing aircraft. As well as maintenance bases and remote operations to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.




- Report audit and inspection findings to management for further action.
- Audit maintenance documents and ensure compliance with regulatory and contract requirements.
- Raise findings and opportunities for improvement (OFI’s) of maintenance activities.
- Responsible for monitoring the timely implementation of preventive and corrective actions raised as a result of findings and OFI’s.
- Enforce company policies and procedures with respect to performance of maintenance and maintaining the maintenance bases to the highest standards.
- Participate and report findings in the company SMS Program, as applicable

Education/Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years working on aircraft or performing inspection on aircraft
- Technical Degree in Aviation Preferred or equivalent of working experience
