We are partnering with a leading specialty chemical manufacturer seeking a Sales Executive / Account Manager to drive growth across key industrial markets, particularly pulp & paper.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for developing current business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer accounts within your region or business unit. The role focuses on increasing market penetration, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering measurable sales growth.

You will also leverage digital tools and CRM systems to track performance, manage pipelines, and identify new opportunities, while supporting colleagues with technical insight where required.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and win new business across target industrial sectors
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Drive sales performance against defined KPIs and revenue targets
- Lead customer trials and convert opportunities into long-term business




- Actively manage and track the sales pipeline in collaboration with leadership
- Promote a strong safety culture across all customer interactions
- Support and mentor team members, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or within relevant industrial sectors
- Proven track record in sales, ideally within chemicals or related markets
- Experience within pulp & paper or water treatment is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence

Preferred Experience

- 5-10 years’ experience in sales or industry-related roles
- Experience managing large accounts
- Familiarity with consignment inventory and billing models
- Experience using digital tools/CRM systems to identify and drive opportunities
