We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day AP and AR activities, maintaining accurate accounting records, processing payments, following up on customer accounts, and assisting with account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

- Process and record supplier invoices and bills
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
- Prepare vendor payments, cheques, EFTs, and payment reports
- Maintain accurate Accounts Payable records
- Generate customer invoices and statements
- Record and apply customer payments
- Follow up with customers regarding outstanding and overdue invoices
- Maintain Accounts Receivable aging reports
- Perform bank, vendor, and customer account reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Process credit notes and account adjustments
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end accounting and reporting
- Communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required

Qualifications

- Previous experience in




- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounting software such as
- QuickBooks
- or similar software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow up professionally on outstanding customer accounts
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

- 1–3 years of AP/AR or bookkeeping experience
- Experience working in a distribution, wholesale, automotive, trucking, or parts-related business is an
- asset
- Accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or business education is an asset
