Be part of Yorkton Community Services as an Advanced Practice Nurse. This full-time position focuses on diagnosing, prescribing, and providing holistic care in a primary health care context. In this Nurse Practitioner role, you will utilize evidence-based practices and advanced clinical skills to manage both acute and chronic conditions.
You will engage actively with the community, conducting needs assessments and fostering inter-skilled collaboration. This full-time role involves a structured shift pattern of 11 shifts within three weeks, allowing for balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed clinical assessments of patients
- Prescribe necessary medications and diagnostic procedures
- Develop partnerships with communities for health enhancement
- Support continuous health improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient care Requirements:
- Minimum one year in a community health role
- Three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license needed
