About the Role

Mulu Jewelry is looking for a strong, energetic and sales-driven Assistant Store Manager for our Oshawa Centre location.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The Assistant Manager will work directly on the sales floor, lead by example, support the sales team, and help drive the store toward its daily and monthly targets.

We are looking for someone who takes ownership of results and can step in to run the store when the Store Manager is not present.

Responsibilities

- Drive personal sales and contribute directly to store targets.
- Coach, motivate and support Sales Associates on the floor.
- Monitor daily sales performance and KPIs.
- Generate customer appointments and ensure proper follow-up.
- Build relationships with customers and develop repeat business.
- Promote financing, custom jewelry, repairs and other Mulu services.
- Handle customer concerns and escalations professionally.
- Open and close the store when required.
- Manage POS, cash handling and daily reconciliation procedures.
- Support inventory counts, transfers, audits and loss prevention.
- Ensure showcases and the overall store are clean and properly presented.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Take responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager is absent.




- Communicate sales, staffing and operational issues to management.

Performance Expectations Performance will be measured based on individual sales, store sales, SPH/KPIs, appointments, customer follow-ups, team performance, inventory accuracy and operational standards.

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of retail sales experience preferred.
- Previous Supervisor, Key Holder or Assistant Manager experience preferred.
- Jewelry, luxury retail or high-ticket sales experience is an asset.
- Strong sales and closing skills.
- Leadership and coaching ability.
- Reliable, accountable and highly motivated.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Available for mall hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

At Mulu Jewelry, an Assistant Manager is not simply there to supervise. They are expected to help grow the business and set the standard for the sales team.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
