Building Automation / BAS Technician (Top Hiring Priority)

Role Overview
As our primary hiring priority, we are seeking an experienced Building Automation / BAS Technician to lead system configuration, programming, and field integrations. You will be responsible for PLC programming, custom graphical interface creation, server setups, and complex third-party system integrations across commercial and institutional facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- PLC & BAS Programming: Program PLC controllers, build custom sequence logic, and configure system servers for seamless operation.
- Graphics & UI Development: Design, build, and deploy intuitive graphical interfaces for Building Automation Systems.
- System Integration: Integrate third-party equipment, protocols (BACnet, Modbus),
and controllers into unified BAS platforms.
- Troubleshooting & Field Service: Perform advanced technical troubleshooting on hardware, software, networks, and automation servers.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with PLC programming, BAS graphics creation, server configuration, and third-party integrations.
- Troubleshooting: Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex network, hardware, and automation software issues.
- Experience & Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in building automation, control systems, or industrial controls.
- Licensing/Education: Relevant diploma/degree in Automated Systems, Instrumentation, Electrical Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
