Northern Auto Electric is looking for a skilled Technician / Installer to join our team.

We are an electrical-focused shop working across multiple industries including automotive, heavy duty, RV, marine, agricultural, and industrial equipment.

This is not a flat-rate environment. We focus on diagnostics, custom installs, and problem-solving work that varies day to day.

Responsibilities

- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Truck upfitting and accessory installs
- Installation of VMAC systems, inverters, solar and battery systems
- Diesel heater installs (Webasto, Espar, Proheat)
- Wiring, fabrication, and custom builds
- Alternator and starter rebuilding

Requirements:
- 3rd / 4th year apprentice or Journeyman preferred
- Experience with automotive or equipment electrical systems
- Robust problem-solving ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Assets (not required):




- Experience with solar or off-grid systems
- Fabrication or custom install experience
- Background in heavy duty, RV, or industrial equipment
