We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Back of House Team Member to join our kitchen team at our Ancaster location.

The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, and maintaining a safe and organized kitchen. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced restaurant environment and wants to be part of a supportive kitchen team.

Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing ingredients.
- Assist cooks with kitchen duties during busy service periods.
- Prepare and cook food according to MY THAI recipes and quality standards.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and properly.
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment as required.
- Keep workstations, floors, refrigerators, and other kitchen areas clean and organized.
- Assist with receiving and storing food and supplies.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and food safety requirements.
- Help with opening and closing kitchen duties.
- Work efficiently as part of the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.




- Perform other general kitchen duties as required.

Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset but not required.
- Food Handler certification is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when required.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation & Benefits
- Starting wage of CA$17.60 per hour (rising to $17.95/hr on Oct. 1, 2026), plus tips from the shared tip pool.
