Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for several Bakery Production Team Members in the Manufacturing (Food Production) in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Join our team as a Bakery Production Team Member and help create high-quality bakery products in a fast-paced production environment. This hands-on role involves mixing and preparing ingredients, operating bakery equipment, baking and packaging products, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, quality, and food safety. We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals with food production experience who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a collaborative team.

Full time hours

Responsibilities:

- Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes and production schedules

- Operate commercial bakery equipment, including mixers and ovens

- Mix, shape, pan, and prepare dough and bakery products

- Bake products while monitoring quality, temperatures, and timing

- Package finished products accurately and efficiently





- Perform quality checks to ensure consistency and product standards

- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary production setting

- Follow food safety procedures and assist with general production duties as needed

Successful candidates will have:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial food production facility

- Food Handler Certification, Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices, Knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles

- Strong math skills and ability to measure ingredients accurately

- Comfortable working in a warm production environment

- Able to lift 55lbs, stand, walk, bend, reach, carry, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift

- Willingness to assist with all aspects of bakery production, including cleaning and sanitation

- Ability to work shifts that may begin as early as 5:00 a.m. and may finish as late as 10:00 p.m.
