BIM Coordinator – Piping / Building Mechanics

Compensation: $50.00/hr

Role Overview

We are looking for a BIM Coordinator with strong expertise in piping and building mechanical systems for a 4-week hybrid contract. You will lead 3D model coordination, run clash detection, and ensure constructible designs across industrial refrigeration, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

- 3D Coordination & Clash Resolution: Run Navisworks clash detection, lead coordination meetings, and resolve spatial conflicts with structural/electrical trades.

- Modeling & Detail Review: Adjust 3D models (Revit MEP) for piping, plumbing,



and refrigeration; verify LOD standards for fabrication and field installation.

- BIM Quality Control: Enforce the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and update issue tracking (BIM Track/Revizto).

Requirements & Qualifications

- Software: Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks Manage.

- Domain Knowledge: Strong background in industrial refrigeration (ammonia, CO2), plumbing, and heating/cooling systems.

- Experience: 3–5+ years in BIM coordination or senior mechanical/piping modeling.

- Skills: Strong plan-reading abilities (P&IDs;, schematics), constructability knowledge, and transparent communication under tight deadlines.
