About the Role

Reporting directly to the BIM Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving our mass timber project delivery. We are looking for an energetic, details-focused collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves bringing technical expertise and creative problem-solving to complex engineering and design challenges.

You will work alongside colleagues in Engineering, Fabrication Design, and Project Management to build innovative, sustainable structures from our corporate head office in Vancouver, BC.

What You Will Be Doing

- Prepare, manage, and review high-quality BIM models, shop drawings, and technical design submittals.
- Collaborate with and empower a team of Specialist Mass Timber Drafters focused on cutting-edge Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA).
- Champion technical growth, mentor junior team members, and refine drafting workflows and standards across the group.
- Drive innovation by exploring design automation, parametric modeling, and modern digital tools.
- Lead seamless communications across Fabrication Designers, internal project groups,



and external partners within the Project Delivery team.
- Estimate and coordinate BIM requirements across project lifecycles to ensure timeline accuracy and high-quality deliverables.
- And any other duties as assigned to help support the team.

What You'll Need

- A degree or diploma in Architectural Technology, CAD Technology, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience as a BIM Coordinator or Lead Drafter working on complex structural projects.
- Proven hands-on mastery in Revit, BIM360, and Cadwork.
- Solid background producing and interpreting structural drawings for real-world construction execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an upbeat, cooperative teamwork mindset.
- Asset: Familiarity with DfMA processes and CAD/CAM fabrication software for mass timber.
- Asset: Experience coordinating mass timber fabrication in North American or European markets.
- Asset: 4D site logistics and just-in-time delivery planning experience (e.g., Navisworks).
- Asset: Exposure to parametric design tools (Dynamo, Rhino, Grasshopper, Python, etc.).

- Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
