Our client, a Banking company, is looking for a Business Information Management Specialist IV for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.

Responsibilities:

- Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities facilitating the review of the requirements and ensuring requirements are implemented and delivered and validated.

Requirements:

- Scope of Project: Project based

- Team Size/Culture: 4 members

- Degree/Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a quantitative discipline (e.g., Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering).

- Skilled designations such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are solid assets.

- Years of Overall Experience: 5-7 years

- Preferred/Ideal Candidate Background: Data project delivery experience in the Financial product space, with exposure to investment with Treasury investment and hedging portfolio.

- That is the underlying content along with any account exposure in that product domain.

- Need to have that technical background around SQL and Python because that's the fundamental language that needs to be navigating in data bricks.

- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis, profiling, reconciliation, validation, and investigation of complex data issues. -5 years

- Strong knowledge of banking products and Treasury domains, including exposure to wholesale and/or retail businesses and use cases such as investments, and Treasury data products modeling. -5 years





- Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex data initiatives in banking or financial services, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical data solutions and measurable outcomes -5 years

- Experience with project testing discipline – 5 years

- Attention to detail

- Strong communication skills

- Treasury background with other product domain knowledge like liquidity, capital

- Strong technical data management capabilities across enterprise datasets, including data sourcing, onboarding, integration, lineage analysis, source-to-target mapping, and support for modern cloud-based data platforms and end-to-end data flows.

- Strong technical capability to support data quality and business validation, including analysis of mapping and transformation rules, control and reconciliation results, root-cause investigation, and partnership with technology teams to resolve defects.

- Experience establishing disciplined testing practices for large-scale business and data initiatives, including test planning, test-case design, requirements traceability, execution coordination, defect triage, regression testing, and test evidence.

- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive execution, and deliver tangible business impact.
