Join Laurentian University as a Security Guard and enhance campus safety part time. This role combines routine patrols, emergency response, and public assistance during various shifts. As a member of the Campus Safety team, your role focuses on providing security and fire protection for all individuals on site.

Applicants must have a strong background in security or police work, a valid Ontario Security Guard license, and exceptional interpersonal skills. Daily duties will involve investigating incidents, conducting regular patrols, and aiding in traffic management. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct traffic and enforce regulations on campus
- Carry out fire and security patrols of buildings
- Provide crowd control for events and activities
- Offer information and assistance to the public
- Conduct monthly inspections of security equipment Requirements:
- College diploma in a relevant field preferred
- 2-3 years of security/police experience
- Current Ontario Security Guard license required
- Valid Ontario Driver’s license in good standing
- CPR and First Aid certification required Support safety and security initiatives at Laurentian University.
