Company Description Clash Nexus AI is a construction-focused technology company that helps project teams identify drawing mistakes before they result in rework, RFIs, delays, or change orders. By analyzing uploaded drawings, specifications, and project documents, the platform flags coordination issues, missing information, scope gaps, spec conflicts, code concerns, and constructability risks.

Each finding is supported with drawing evidence, clear context, severity, impact, and recommended next steps. This enables contractors, consultants, engineers, and preconstruction teams to review more efficiently, make better decisions, and keep projects moving smoothly. The company is building intelligent tools that reduce risk and improve outcomes across the construction lifecycle.

Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote leadership role based in North America, responsible for shaping and executing Clash Nexus AI’s overall technology vision and roadmap. Initially, the CTO will be solely responsible for the development required to expand our current product offerings.

In the immediate future, they will lead engineering and product teams in designing, building, and maintaining scalable AI-driven software solutions for the construction industry. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing software development practices, guiding architectural decisions, aligning IT strategy with business goals,



and collaborating with product, operations, and customer-facing teams to deliver value to clients. The role involves managing technology projects, ensuring quality, security, and reliability of the platform, and fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The CTO will also participate in strategic planning, hiring and mentoring technical talent, and representing the technology function in executive discussions and external stakeholder meetings.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building and scaling SaaS or AI-driven platforms.
- Proven expertise in IT Strategy and technical Architecture, including designing secure, reliable, and scalable systems.
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex initiatives on time and within scope.
- Experience leading cross-functional technology teams and collaborating closely with product, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and machine learning or AI concepts; experience in construction tech or related industries is an asset.
- Ability to set transparent technical standards, mentor engineering teams, and build inclusive, high-performance work environments.
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with a track record of translating business needs into technical solutions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
