Support children’s success in school and life as a Success Coach at The Family Centre. In this part time position, you will focus on trauma-informed care and social-emotional development.
The Success
Coach role at The Family Centre is a 0.80 FTE commitment, where you'll engage with children and youth to enhance their resilience and community connections. This position involves working collaboratively with students, caregivers, and the community to foster a culture of support and encouragement. Your impactful role will empower youth to develop a positive self-identity and thrive academically. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-on-one meetings with students to set development goals
- Engage families to strengthen support for positive youth experiences
- Create group programming that reflects school needs
- Empower youth to embrace their cultural identity
- Facilitate summer activities for participant engagement Requirements:
- Educational background in Child & Youth Care or similar field
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Experience with diverse youth populations
- Auto insurance and valid vehicle for job-related travel
- Completion of necessary training upon hire Make a real difference in the lives of youth while promoting growth and resilience at The Family Centre.
