Registered Psychologist – Child and Adolescent Practice (Calgary West)

Moroz Child Psychology Group is looking for an exceptional Registered Psychologist to join our established child and adolescent practice in southwest Calgary.

For more than 20 years, our clinic has been built around robust clinical thinking, evidence-based treatment, thoughtful assessment, and a commitment to continually becoming better at what we do. We are looking for someone who shares that approach and wants to become an important, long-term member of our team.

This is a permanent position with an immediate caseload. One of our longstanding psychologists will soon begin a one-year maternity leave, creating an opportunity for a new psychologist to inherit an established group of clients from the outset. Importantly, this is not a maternity-leave position. Our practice has the referral volume and office capacity to support another full-time psychologist well beyond her return.

Assessment experience would be a particular asset. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience administering and interpreting intellectual and academic measures and completing psychoeducational assessments. For a psychologist with this foundation who would like to expand their assessment skills, there will be considerable opportunity to work alongside experienced psychologists at our clinic and develop greater expertise in clinical and diagnostic assessment, including the assessment of ADHD, learning disorders, autism spectrum disorder,



and other childhood concerns.

We are equally interested in what you might bring that we are not already doing. Our office includes a large, flexible clinical space that provides opportunities for new programming. This might include parent seminars, specialty treatment groups, or another clinical initiative that reflects your own expertise and interests. We want psychologists to have room to develop something that feels like their own contribution to the practice.

We do not expect our psychologists to follow a single therapeutic orientation. We believe treatment should be guided by the presenting concern and the evidence supporting the intervention. We value psychologists who think carefully about their cases, remain curious, continue learning, and enjoy discussing clinical ideas with colleagues.

The right person will be a Registered Psychologist in Alberta, have a strong interest in working with children, adolescents and families, and ideally bring previous psychoeducational assessment experience. We are particularly interested in someone who wants to continue developing both as a therapist and assessor rather than just having an office in which to see clients independently.
