Become an essential part of childhood development at the City of Thunder Bay as a Child Care Educator II. This role focuses on planning and implementing enriching learning activities for children in the Child Care Centre. Under the guidance of the Program Supervisor, you will lead engaging activities tailored to support each child's holistic development.

Your responsibilities include maintaining a well-equipped Centre, participating in staff meetings, and orienting new staff and students. Robust communication skills are vital, as is your ability to collaborate effectively with families and outside agencies. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct and participate in planned learning activities
- Implement developmentally appropriate programs for children




- Maintain a tidy and equipped Child Care Centre
- Participate in staff and community engagement events
- Complete necessary statistical data forms Requirements:
- Diploma in early childhood education or equivalency
- Knowledge of the Ontario Child Care and Early Years Act
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work well with a diverse population
