Your role will involve providing crucial counseling and crisis intervention while ensuring adherence to the values of Kunuwanimano. You will engage with First Nations Councils and collaborate on family care plans to address emotional and cultural needs effectively. This position requires a strong commitment to children's welfare and coordination of family access visits. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with children in care and families
- Develop individual care and treatment plans
- Report suspicions of abuse immediately to supervisors
- Support Family Services in coordinating customary care
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures Requirements:
- BSW degree or equivalent Social Services education
- Minimum two years of relevant experience
- Valid Ontario Driver's license and auto liability insurance
- Proven communication and organizational skills
