About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented civil engineer to support the planning, design, execution, and supervision of construction and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of civil engineering principles, construction practices, drawings, materials, and project coordination. This position is suitable for an entry to mid-level civil engineer who is looking to develop their technical and project management skills while taking greater responsibility for project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning, designing, and executing construction and infrastructure projects.

Review engineering drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project documentation.

Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.

Monitor construction activities to ensure work follows approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Conduct site inspections and identify quality, safety, or construction issues.

Prepare and maintain project reports, progress updates, measurements, and documentation.

Assist with quantity estimation, material requirements, and cost calculations.

Monitor project timelines, materials, manpower, and overall site progress.

Ensure construction activities comply with applicable building codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.





Coordinate material testing and quality-control activities.

Identify construction challenges and work with senior engineers and contractors to develop solutions.

Assist with project scheduling, resource planning, and cost monitoring.

Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, measurements, and changes.

Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.

Support senior engineers and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

1–4 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, infrastructure, or a related setting.

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, structural drawings, and construction plans.

Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and quality-control procedures.

Basic knowledge of quantity estimation, BOQ, and project costing.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design/drafting software.

Familiarity with MS Excel, MS Project, or other project-management tools.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Positive written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with contractors, vendors, engineers, and project teams.
