The Medical Travel
Clerk role focuses on document accuracy and client liaison. Reporting directly to the Supervisor of Health Programs, you will assist individuals navigating medical travel.
Key responsibilities include preparing travel documents, ensuring documentation is complete, and acting as a point of contact for clients. This role emphasizes support and organization in the medical travel process. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare travel documents for Supervisor's review and approval
- Ensure accurate completion of medical travel forms
- Notify clients of appointments and travel logistics
- Troubleshoot any issues regarding travel or appointments
- Organize record-keeping for received notifications Requirements:
- Completion of Grade 10 with two years of customer service experience
- Inuktitut fluency is mandatory
- Understanding of Inuit culture and language is an asset
- Transparent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks required
- Experience in cross-cultural northern work environments is valuable Support Inuit community members effectively as the Medical Travel Clerk in Nunavut.
