Summary Volunteers will peel, chop, cut, and slice produce to transform it into ready to use, prepared food packages. Other tasks may include portioning dry goods into individual/family size portions, and sealing packages (manually or with equipment).

About This Opportunity Collaborative Kitchen Volunteer
Shift days: Wednesdays
Shift times: 9:00-11:30am; 1:00-3:30pm
Location: 310 Limeridge Rd W, Unit 10, Hamilton
(Neighbour to Neighbour Community Food Centre)
Volunteers will be tasked with peeling, chopping, and cutting produce and/or portioning food and sealing packages. Closed-toe shoes are required, and volunteers with be provided with aprons and hairnets to use while participating (baseball hats are welcome to be worn in lieu of a hairnet).
