The Mental Health
Educator will be instrumental in developing evidence-based workshops and coordinating community outreach programs that promote mental well-being. You'll collaborate with various organizations to fulfill the vision of a suicide-safer setting in Windsor and Essex County. This temporary position is funded by Employment Ontario, designed to enhance resilience during challenging times. Key Responsibilities:
- Research and develop trauma-informed workshops
- Facilitate internal and external mental health training
- Conduct grief education seminars and support groups
- Prepare participation resource materials
- Liaise with community agencies for outreach efforts Requirements:
- Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Health Sciences
- Experience in a mental health-focused role
- Strong public speaking capabilities
- Advanced bilingual skills preferred
