TC Energy is seeking a Compression Operations Engineer to enhance natural gas compressor station safety and reliability. This role emphasizes hands-on field engagement, working closely with experienced engineers and field specialists. The position offers a unique chance to contribute to system-wide operational initiatives while ensuring the continuous improvement of equipment reliability and maintenance practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data gathering and engineering analyses for issue resolution
- Provide field-based troubleshooting support during site visits
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate risk assessments for compression facilities
- Support development of treatment plans to mitigate risks Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering
- 5-10 years of progressive relevant engineering experience
- Ability to drive solutions to complex problems
- Registration or eligibility for APEGA as a Professional Engineer
