Adecco is currently hiring Construction Planner for a full-time opportunity for our client in Lloydminster, SK. This role is ideal for experienced construction, maintenance, or project planning professionals with expertise in project execution, scheduling, contractor coordination, and construction planning within an industrial environment.

This position requires candidates to reside within commuting distance of the Lloydminster area.

- Location: Lloydminster, SK
- Shift: 5 days per week | 40 hours per week | Overtime may be needed
- Job type: One year contract | Full-time

Responsibilities: Project Planning & Execution

- Review approved project scope and ensure required documentation is complete.
- Develop detailed execution plans, including P&ID; markups, plot plans, inspection packages, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Create and maintain construction execution schedules using P6 and other planning tools.
- Integrate multidisciplinary work activities into detailed execution plans.

Scheduling & Coordination

- Lead scope reviews, schedule reviews, and planning workshops.
- Participate in field walks, contractor reviews, and schedule optimization sessions.
- Support responses to contractor RFIs and planning-related inquiries.
- Assist with resource planning and labour leveling activities.

Contractor & Project Support

- Coordinate with project, procurement, engineering, and construction teams to ensure material and work package readiness.
- Support contractor selection activities, contract strategies, and RFP reviews.
- Monitor project progress, costs, and performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Safety & Operational Excellence

- Ensure work is planned and executed safely and efficiently.
- Maintain project documentation, BOMs,



and material records.
- Support compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction planning, project execution, maintenance planning, turnaround planning, or a related industrial environment.
- Red Seal Journeyperson certification, technical diploma, or process operations background.
- Experience with project execution, construction planning, and contractor coordination.
- Experience using Primavera P6, CMMS, GWOS, or similar planning and scheduling systems is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, work packaging, and project controls.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
