EXO Construction group is a growing General Contracting company who is looking for a Construction Site Superintendent or Senior Foreman for an approximately 3-month contract in Kelowna, BC with potential for an extension and future opportunities. The project involves electrical improvements within an active courthouse, with four 10-hour night shifts per week. Full-shift coverage is not required. The role will typically require approximately 1 hour at the start and 2–3 hours at the end of each shift to oversee subcontractor coordination, safety, cleanup, and daily reporting, and to ensure the facility is ready for normal operations each morning.

Additional coverage may be required as needed.

The successful candidate must be experienced, reliable and comfortable representing EXO as the General Contractor.

Position Overview

As an experienced Site Superintendent/Foreman, you will be responsible to successfully lead and execute a variety of projects from tenant improvements to full building addition. This position is also responsible for the overall performance and administrative direction for each project and ensuring those activities are completed effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Work directly with Project Manager, Consultants, Owner and/or Representatives
- Planning and allocating resources, and coordinating people and equipment.
- Coordinate and manage sub-trades and own forces on site, if needed, to achieve the schedule and budget
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
- Supervising crews and associated contract works to obtain top quality workmanship, efficiency, employee satisfaction, morale, communication, commitment,



and teamwork
- Conduct onsite meetings with trades and maintain daily construction log
- Quality Control, bringing to the attention of those who need to know any aspect of the job that needs resolution, correction or further direction as soon as possible
- Running a clean, organized site
- Ensuring that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed
- Conduct on-site safety orientation and maintain daily safety reports
- Completing a project on time and on budget
- Cooperating with all team members, internally and externally
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Negotiate revisions, changes and additions with the team
- Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, if needed
- Other duties as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Construction Foreman or Construction Supervisory Role for commercial TI (tenant improvement) projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valuable knowledge of Procore an asset
- Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Must have a valid BC Driver's License
- Red Seal certificate, considered an asset
- Motivated team player with the ability to work alone

Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour
