We are currently looking for COOKS to join our dynamic team at ITALIAN KITCHEN. Located at 860 Burrard Street, Vancouver, BC, focused on old world charm, new world vibe. Simple ingredients creating the ultimate in fresh and classic Italian dishes.

Reporting to the Chef, the COOK is responsible for safely preparing dishes required for a full-service restaurant.



The ideal candidate should be motivated by an appetite for food and developing knowledge of various cooking techniques.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

- FOODSAFE certification is an asset
- Experience as a line cook is an asset - grilling, frying, sautéing, chopping, etc
- Strong knife skills and workable knowledge of kitchen equipment
- Solid understanding of standard measurements and portions
- Energetic with a passion for food and a positive outlook
- Able to follow oral and written instructions
- Likes to work as part of a team
- Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
