Position: Accountant

Employment Type: Full-Time

Visual Entertainment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. We are looking for someone with a strong accounting background who is also comfortable working with CRM, inventory management, or similar business management systems.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities while helping ensure that our financial records, inventory information, purchases, and related transactions are accurately maintained and reconciled.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
- Process invoices, payments, expenses, and purchase transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting procedures
- Track and reconcile inventory purchases, inventory values, and related transactions
- Work with CRM and/or inventory management systems to maintain accurate product and transaction records
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between accounting and inventory records
- Prepare financial and management reports as required
- Assist with budgeting, cash-flow tracking, and financial analysis
- Maintain organized documentation and support external accountants or auditors when required

Qualifications

- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping,



or a related financial role
- Experience using CRM, inventory management, ERP, or similar business software
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reconciliation
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms is an asset
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and solve problems independently
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments
- Experience working with companies that carry and manage physical inventory is an asset
