Become a pivotal Cultural Awareness Coordinator at Thomas' Circle of Care Inc., focused on healing and cultural education for First Nations children. This team-oriented role encourages cultural pride and community connection. Reporting to the Director of Child Care Services, the Cultural Awareness Coordinator organizes and delivers programs aimed at cultural enrichment and reconciliation.

The role includes facilitating traditional ceremonies and providing guidance to families, with an emphasis on emotional well-being and identity affirmation. Your efforts will help educate staff and create a supportive atmosphere for First Nations youth. Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate cultural ceremonies and rituals
- Provide guidance and teaching to First Nations families




- Educate staff on cultural practices and protocols
- Coordinate culturally relevant programming with approval
- Promote emotional support and life skills for families Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of First Nations culture
- CPR/First Aid certification required
- Valid driver’s license and dependable vehicle
- Experience working with children and special needs
- Strong writing and communication abilities Help enrich cultural knowledge and support First Nations traditions through this important role.
