Join Squamish Nation's Háhalhi7iwan Wellness team as a Child and Youth Wellness & Addiction Therapist in Squamish, BC, bringing cultural and trauma-informed care to children, youth, and families. This full-time, permanent role emphasizes culturally safe therapeutic services rooted in Indigenous values. You will conduct assessments, support wellness planning, and deliver individual and group counselling, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health.
Collaborating with community partners, Elder’s, and Knowledge Keepers, you will significantly impact children and youth's resilience and healing. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culturally informed individual and group counselling
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Facilitate community wellness programs and education initiatives
- Collaborate with families and community partners for integrated care
- Maintain clinical documentation and case management Requirements:
- Master’s in Psychology, Counseling, or related field
- 6 to 8 years of therapy experience with children and youth
- Active skilled registration in BC
- Strong crisis intervention and assessment skills
