- 10+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity risk assessments, third-party/vendor risk assessments, and ongoing risk management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards, principles, practices, and risk management concepts.
Experience with application security design and architecture is considered an asset.
- Proven people management and leadership skills, including effective communication, prioritization, coaching, and talent development.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex cybersecurity and risk issues into clear, concise messages for a broad range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, lead teams through change, and drive effective outcomes in complex and evolving environments.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills,
with the ability to understand complex processes, assess risk, and exercise sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve effective and sustainable outcomes.
- Experience with Ariba, Archer, or other Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platforms.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Security, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent skilled training and experience.
- Professional certifications in cybersecurity or IT risk, such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP/CCSK, or GIAC, are preferred.
