The Nuclear Physics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher focused on quark-gluon plasma research. Contribute to the ALICE experiment at CERN. We are looking for a skilled postdoctoral researcher to be part of our Ultrarelativistic Heavy-Ion Physics group.

Responsibilities include data analysis, the upgrade of the ALICE ITS3 tracking system, and groundwork for the ALICE3 experiment launching after 2030. Join a collaborative research setting dedicated to advancing nuclear matter studies. Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze data from the ALICE experiment at CERN
- Support the upgrade of the ALICE ITS3 detector
- Engage in preparations for ALICE3 implementation
- Collaborate with top researchers in the field
- Document and publish research findings Requirements:
- PhD in nuclear physics or a related discipline
- Proven experience in experimental and theoretical physics
- Solid background in data management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
