Position Description:

Work Model: Hybrid, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, potentially increasing to 5 days depending on business needs.

To support recurring and upcoming needs, we are looking to connect with developers interested in joining our teams.

We are seeking a versatile .NET / Azure Developer to contribute to the development, maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of strategic application solutions. The role is primarily focused on C#/.NET development, while also providing opportunities to work on integrations, front-end development, and Azure services.

The ideal candidate is autonomous, curious, and analytical. They enjoy understanding how systems work as a whole and are able to research, identify, and propose solutions tailored to the challenges they encounter.

You will have the prospect to make a meaningful contribution to large-scale solutions within an environment combining .NET, Azure, and artificial intelligence tools applied to software development.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Participate in the design, development, enhancement, and/or corrective maintenance of C#/.NET applications.

Perform back-end development activities as well as selected front-end integrations, particularly using ASP.NET MVC and React.

Work on existing applications, including certain legacy components, sometimes as part of modernization initiatives.

Develop, maintain, and propose improvements related to:

Authentication mechanisms, session management, and access control

Application security

User experience

Participate in integrations between various applications, APIs, and enterprise systems.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of development, maintenance, and operational practices.

Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, architects, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Use artificial intelligence tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to improve development productivity and code quality.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:





Minimum of 5 years of experience related to software development.

Education in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Advanced proficiency in French and a functional ability to communicate in English, particularly when interacting with clients and colleagues across Canada and internationally.

Cloud: Microsoft Azure

Development & Deployment: GitHub, Docker, Azure DevOps

AI-Assisted Development: GitHub Copilot

Technologies may vary depending on the applications and business needs.

Technical Assets

Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Kubernetes, IIS, Kafka, Kong, BizTalk, MongoDB, Dynatrace.

Certification from a recognized vendor in technologies related to the position.

Other Assets

Bilingualism in French and English.

Ability to take a proactive approach to identifying and proposing solutions, fixes, and improvements.

CGI provides a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position.

The salary range is determined based on several factors, including skill level, geographic market, experience, education, and professional licenses and certifications.





Compensation decisions are based on the specific circumstances of each individual case.

A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $55,000 to $105,000.
